Tickets & Entry
How much are tickets?
Pricing is listed on the tickets page. Single-day, 3-day weekend, family bundle, and amphitheatre upgrade tiers are all available.
Do I need a separate ticket for the headliners?
Yes. The Pacific Amphitheatre shows (Saturday + Sunday night headliners) are reserved seating and require a separate ticket or an "Amphitheatre Upgrade" add-on to your festival pass. Friday's headliner (Ehab Tawfik) is on the open Festival Stage and is included with your festival ticket.
Is there an in-and-out privilege?
Yes, unlimited. Get your hand stamped at any exit gate.
What ID do I need?
18+ for the Indoor Stage after 11 PM — valid government ID required. Everywhere else on the grounds, no ID needed unless you're buying alcohol.
Getting There
Where is it?
OC Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA. Exit 405 at Fairview, follow signs.
Is there parking?
Yes — on-site parking is $20 per day, available day-of. We strongly recommend rideshare on Saturday night, when the area gets busy.
Is there a rideshare zone?
Yes, dedicated Uber/Lyft pick-up and drop-off zone on Fair Drive, south gate. It's the fastest way in and out on peak nights.
Any hotel recommendations?
We have partner rates at three nearby hotels — see the info page for booking codes.
Food & Drink
Is the food halal?
Every meat vendor on the grounds is halal-certified. A handful of vendors serve pork or non-halal items — those stalls are clearly labeled at the stall and on the map.
Are there vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes, at nearly every stall. MENA cuisine has deep vegetarian roots — mezze, falafel, mujadara, ful, moutabal, and dozens more are naturally meatless.
Is alcohol served?
Yes, at a dedicated wine & beer garden on the west side of the grounds. 21+ only. The bazaar and food court are otherwise alcohol-free to keep the festival family-friendly.
Can I bring my own food or water?
Outside food is not allowed. Sealed water bottles (up to 1 liter) are permitted, and free refill stations are available at every corner of the grounds.
Family & Kids
Is this a kid-friendly event?
Yes. Kids under 10 are free with a ticketed adult, and we run a full kids' programming line (crafts, storytelling, carnival rides) all weekend. Bring them.
Is there a nursing room?
Yes — private, air-conditioned, with changing tables, inside the Family Services building.
What time is too late for kids?
The grounds stay family-friendly until around 10 PM. After that, the Indoor Stage goes 18+ and the bazaar winds down. The midway rides run until 11 PM.
Accessibility
Is the festival wheelchair accessible?
Fully. Paved paths throughout, reserved seating sections at every stage, accessible parking, ADA restrooms, and complimentary mobility scooter rental on request.
Is there sign language interpretation?
Yes, at every headliner set at the Pacific Amphitheatre and the Festival Stage. Request it at least 72 hours ahead via the contact form and we'll make sure interpreters are on your stage.
Do you have a sensory-friendly hour?
Yes. Sunday 11 AM – noon. Rides running at reduced speed, volume lowered on the Festival Stage, low-crowd access times for sensory-sensitive kids and families.
Culture & Community
I'm not from the MENA region — am I welcome?
Yes. Everyone is welcome. This festival was built for MENA families in Southern California, but it's not closed — it's a celebration. Come with curiosity, leave with a few new favorite dishes.
Are there prayer facilities?
Yes — two quiet prayer rooms with wudu stations near the bazaar center. Open all day. Jummah at 1 PM Friday, led by a local imam.
Is there a dress code?
None. Come as you are. Modest dress, festival fits, kaftans, thobes, shorts, hijab, no hijab — all welcome. This is a come-as-you-are event.
Music & Stages
How many stages are there?
Three. The Pacific Amphitheatre (reserved seating, headliners), the Festival Stage (outdoor, all-day, included with festival pass), and the Indoor Stage (club-dark, emerging artists + late-night DJs).
Can I see the full schedule?
Yes — here. Set times drop in full six weeks before the festival.
Will artists do meet & greets?
Some — we'll announce which ones when set times are finalized. VIP ticket holders get priority access.
Policies
Refund policy?
All sales are final. We cannot offer refunds for missed sets, changes in lineup, or weather (this is Southern California in June — we'll be fine).
Can I transfer my ticket?
Yes, up to 48 hours before the festival. Log into your ticket account and transfer to another email.
What's not allowed?
Outside food, glass, weapons, professional cameras (without a media pass), drones, pets (service animals welcome). Standard festival rules.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes. Free stroller and wagon parking at the East Entry. Wagons available to rent for $10/day if you forgot yours at home.
