The OC Fairgrounds is a fair — which means rides. We didn't tear them out; we built the festival around them. Kids ride while you eat. Teens cluster at the midway while you watch the Festival Stage. Everyone meets back at the bazaar by sunset.

Family
Chair swings that spin out over the midway. Named for the festival. The kids will want to go three times.
Little kids
Hand-painted wooden horses, camels, and one very confused ostrich. For the under-sevens and for nostalgia.
Thrill
120-foot free-fall tower. If you need adrenaline between sets, this is the one. Not for the faint of stomach.
Classic
The childhood classic. Every cousin fight has ended here peacefully. Eventually.
Medium thrill
The giant swinging pirate ship — just named for someone a little closer to home. Get a back-row seat for maximum air.

This is a family festival because MENA is a family culture. Every service you need to bring a four-year-old and a grandmother through a ten-hour festival day is on the grounds — and most of it is free.
